22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.”

Dear Friends of Refresh Ministries,

The idea of God being with us is of such comfort and a reason for cheer. It hasn’t been easy this year to believe this wonderful truth. It has been another crazy Covid year.

Many transitions have been forced, many conflicts suffered, and much fear promoted. At an initial glance, one would think God hasn’t been with us. Too many difficult things have happened for that to be true. However, deeper reflection tells a different story.

At Refresh Ministries, we have definitely found God to be with us. His provision in this time of financial hardships has been sufficient. Covid has not resulted in restricting our ministry but expanding it, not only in global impact but in opening the way for new and excellent board members to join our work.

I recently had the opportunity to share some life-changing principles with a group of pastors. One wrote in response “the call was very life-giving to me.” To the glory of God, this type of impact has happened many times in the past year. God has been with us.

I am also grateful that many of you have been with us this past year. On behalf of our Board of Directors and staff, I thank you for your support and prayers.

This ministry wouldn’t happen without you.
